Flaming Idiots
by Tom Rooney
Directed By: Ashley Dahl
Performance: Sept. 14 - Oct. 4,
2007
Two
burned-out postal workers decide to start their own
business. The would-be entrepreneurs try their
hand at opening a restaurant. Their decision is
based on the observation that the ladder to success at
the post office is missing a few rungs. They feel
that big money is just waiting for people with
entrepreneurial spirit and sound business judgment.
However...NOTHING SEEMS TO GO RIGHT! From hiring
staff to opening the restaurant, chaos reigns.
They flounder and eventually come up with a scheme to
drum up business for their new venture.
Flaming Idiots is a contemporary farce that delivers
more laughs than food. A great way to start off
the season. |

Love Letters
by A.R. Gurney
Performance: April 11 - May 4, 2008
This
production contains language that may not be appropriate
for children.
It is presented through special arrangement with
Dramatists Play Service
This
Pulitzer Prize for Drama nominated play centers on just
two characters,
Melissa Gardner and
Andrew Makepiece Ladd III, whose friendship has
consisted solely of letters written to each other.
They sit side by side at tables and read the
correspondence - in which they discuss the hopes and
ambitions, dreams and disappointments, victories and
defeats that have passed between them throughout their
separated lives. It is only at the sad ending that they
realize they were really love letters all along.
This
play is described by the author as a performance piece
and is read rather than memorized and played on a bare
stage with a minimum of staging.
