A brilliant and ruthless criminal attorney plots to kill his wife and test each scenario in the courtroom of his mind.  He creates an imaginary prosecutor  and pits himself against his alter ego in a series of witty and sometimes hostile exchanges.  Again and again he is frustrated, unable to formulate the ultimate alibi.  He is shocked to learn that his wife and someone else are planning to kill him.  The playwrights have a wonderful time manipulating us into believing one thing, then switch on the lights and exclaim: "SUPRISE"!  A witty and suspensful mystery full of humor.
